Does your jerky have preservatives?
Nitrites, as found in all green vegetables, are used in processing our jerky. The old timers used the similar sodium products found in "salt peter." Our best-selling jerky (the old fashioned beef), has only salt, pepper, a little spice, two other salt derived products, sodium nitrite, and sodium erythorbate. Our Old Fashioned Beef Pemmican Jerky, Midnight Special and Turkey contain zero MSG!
How should I store the jerky?
If the package is loose, consume within a few days or freeze upon arrival. Tightly sealed packages are good in room temperature for up to 2 weeks if unopened, in the refrigerator for 4 weeks and in the freezer up to a year. Storage instructions are printed at the bottom of all invoices.
How long does it take to receive an order?
Generally, one to four business days through USPS priority mail, depending on your location and when your order was placed through the week. You can also place an order by calling toll free, 1-620-964-2222 weekdays 8:00am - 5:00pm.
